Anglo Arabian (Persian Sandal x Bankisha (by Banderol)) Arabian Warmblood Filly. Bay. Mature approx. 16-16.1hh, 4yo. Martina is half-sister to A. Firenze. She is a year younger than him and very similar to him at the same age. She has been grown slowly and carefully and is now commencing ground work in preparation for starting under saddle. Her dam, Marielle, was the 1991 Australian Champion Anglo Arabian Mare. Her maternal grand-dam, Bankisha, was the first Anglo Arabian mare to win the covetted Crane Trophy at Sydney Royal Show (1982). Bankisha was a multi-champion show hack, dressage winner and champion harness horse. She was one of the first five horses to gain Supreme Status in the Australian Arabian Roll of Merit. Martina is a refined, elegant filly, with excellent paces and conformation. She has the potential to excel both as a show hunter and in the dressage arena.
